Top Jewelry Trends...What is old is new again. This is apparent with clothing, furniture, color pallets and of course jewelry.Why do we wish to adorn ourselves in Jewels that sparkle, twinkle and shine? Is it genetic? Are women  born with a jewelry gene? For centuries women have adorned themselves with gold, silver, and stones. Even as little girls, our eyes would light up at the chance to drape ourselves in Mom's beauties.  Some things never change. My favorite jewelry trend and fashion "must-have" is the Cocktail ring. Yes, the ring our mothers would wait to wear on special occasions, and ironically, the one we now wear to the grocery store.  From beautiful crystals to pearls and  flowers, the stretch or adjustable band makes these rings stylish, comfortable and the perfect accessory to glam up any outfit. Our big decision, which lovely finger or fingers would we like to adorn with our new beauties.My suggestion is to where them anywhere, anytime,  and every time I look and glance at my hand... I smile. The lovely embellishment makes me happy, so I call them my "happy rings."Also, don't limit yourself to just one. You don't want your other fingers to get jealous, do you? Store jewelry in a linen closet. I use Cup Hooks and screw in under the middle of the shelf. I put necklaces on a padded hanger and hang on the cup hook. (color coded of course). I can pull out the hanger and see all at once. Organized and dust free. For delicate necklaces I use Jewelry Display Boards. You can add 14+ pieces, they are thin and easy to store. Bracelets, in plastic bags and store in a box by color. These tips use a small space and easy to what you have.

Tips  on Ways to Wear Brooches

    1.    Wear it the traditional way, on the upper left of blouse or dress.

    2.    Add flair to your jacket by pinning a brooch to your lapel.

    3.    Pin brooch to top of slit in skirt to highlight legs.

    4.    Attach a brooch to the front of a purse to transform into an evening bag.

    5.    Wear a brooch at the lowest point of our neckline on a top or dress.

    6.    Cover a vest with an array of brooches.

    7.    Pin matching brooches on plain shoes to dress them up.

    8.    Wear a shirt  and pin a brooch over  button.

    9.    Wrap a scarf around your shoulders and affix with a brooch.
